"The outlook is good. We firmly believe that he's going to play a significant role. With luck from the opening match. Otherwise, then we'll pick it up."

The talented all-rounder was excluded lately from the national team for their limited-overs matches against the subcontinent side as a precautionary measure because of discomfort in his torso.
Bailey described it as a "slight concern and confirmed that he's scheduled to appear in the domestic first-class competition, so will be "well-prepared to resume bowling."
"We put so much time has gone into creating the schedule for him to participate for the opening match as an all-rounder," he elaborated.
"Originally, he'd only feature in the first two ODIs in any case. The way he swings the bat in limited-overs, even if it just sets him back for 24 more hours, we opted to adopt a safer strategy."
